Legacy Refuge

Legacy Refuge is non-profit orphan ministry that has been working with Ukrainian orphans for almost seven years. Our mission is to see every orphan know Christ, heal from trauma, and live a healthy, productive life. We strive to accomplish this by creating revolutionary initiatives that reach, impact, and empower orphans everywhere.

This past year has been an amazing time of growth for our ministry!

Home for the Holidays

Last winter, we traveled over 7,000 miles across both Europe and Ukraine to deliver over 700 presents to 14 different orphanage groups and to spread the love and hope of Jesus.

Legacy Leader Academy

This summer, we pioneered our first ever Legacy Leader Academy, an initiative designed to equip young leaders to raise the banner for orphans across the globe. Through this academy, we want to build up a generation of leaders revived, filled, called, and sent; leaders who will give their lives to go into all the world and claim victory for the world's most vulnerable.

2023 Priceless Summer Camp Programs

After training, we then took our young leaders into the field and did 12 summer camp programs at various orphanages across Europe and Ukraine. We saw countless orphans responding to the message of Christ and taking steps toward healing and growth in their own lives.

Filtered Hope Programs

Alongside our summer camps, we also continued to do our Filtered Hope programs. Filtered Hope is a job skills and life skills program that teaches aged out orphans how to personally grow and practically get a job through the tool of coffee. Each orphaned is trained as a barista with the goal of getting a job in a local coffee shop.

However, there is so much more to be done. The needs of Ukrainian orphans and orphans globally have never been greater. That's why we are launching our winter fundraising alongside raising funds for our upcoming initiatives over this next year:

• A Thrill of Hope: This winter, we'll be traveling all over Europe and Ukraine again to deliver hundreds of presents and programs to orphans in need along with the hope and message of Jesus.
• Filtered Hope Coffee Shop: In 2024, we are wanting to launch a Filtered Hope coffee shop to provide job training, mentoring, and discipleship to aged out orphans through the tool of coffee.
• Legacy Refuge Coffee Cart: We are also wanting to start our very own coffee cart in America to provide life skills and job skills training to both Ukrainian refugees and local aged out orphans. This cart will also help fund our other programs.
• Legacy Refuge Staff: To continue to push our impact and keep up with all of these projects, we are also growing our team and infrastructure.
