Since 1979, Lee Carlson Center has been a beacon of hope for those coping with emotional and behavioral issues. We are a trauma-responsive and integrative provider of mental health services focused on the needs of communities across Anoka County and Minnesota’s north metro impacting the lives of 7,000+ individuals, families, and caregivers each year.
Lee Carlson Center is raising funds to support the clients, programs, and services of our Bridgeview Program. It has been a joy to welcome the members back to their community, where they can enjoy fellowship, therapy, healthy lunch and snacks, and access to special programs like Garden and Art Therapies, and opportunities to join in writing and music groups.
"I have been a Bridgeview member for many years," shared artist Mary V., "and the biggest benefit is being accepted for who I am."
"I started my art practice at Bridgeview," said Mary, "The studio, Artist-in-Residence programs, and support allows me to create the art that I want."
"I like knowing that what I'm doing is important and valuable. I don't have to pretend that I am someone I'm not."
Donating to Bridgeview supports member artists like Mary, not only in their art but in their journey to health and wellness. More than 90% of Bridgeview members report increased mental health and wellness after joining the program. Members have access to group and individual therapy, employment and housing support, and community with shared life experience.
On behalf of the staff, clients, and the communities Lee Carlson Center serves, thank you for your generous support.
All funds raised will go directly into supporting Bridgeview programs and services for adults with persistent and severe mental illness. Your gift will support:

YOU can help make hope, healing, and health happen.
Please help us by making a gift today.
We are so grateful for your support!
