Double Your Gift - 2 Ways!

We can’t do this work without you! Between now and December 31st, we have two opportunities for your gift to be matched!

1. A generous donor will match dollar for dollar every gift up to $30,000! For example, your gift of $500 will be matched to have a total impact of $1,000!
2. Additionally, a donor will make a $1,000 contribution to Launch for every NEW or INCREASED monthly commitment of $100/month. For example, if you pledge $100/month for 2023, your total impact will be $2,200!

Every month, over 20 brand new youth who are experiencing homelessness engage Launch Ministry through our youth drop-in center in Chaska or through virtual connections with the organization. Last year, 170 youth met 1800 times with mentors to find support in Adulting and navigating the challenges that they face.

There are so many hurting young people in our community and it is such a joy to be able to serve them.

It seems like we're always asking for volunteers and financial support, but that's only because the need is so great. This is Give to the Max Day, a day set aside in Minnesota for people to give generously to the nonprofit organizations that they care about. We hope that you will consider Launch Ministry as you decide where to give.

Launch Ministry is an incredibly good investment. Our annual budget of $850,000 supports 8 staff salaries, the 5 day/week drop-in resource center (around 300 young people served every year), a scattered site (apartment-based) housing program which currently houses 18 formerly homeless youth, our young adult mentoring program (170 youth mentored last year), our Adulting 2.0 skill building classes, an emergency shelter program which provides hotel rooms for over 50 youth in crisis every year, and much more.

Looking ahead to next year, we are seeking to raise $140,000 at the end of the year. This investment round will focus on the following priorities:

• Expanding our successful permanent supportive housing program into Scott County, doubling the number of youth served to 30
• Expanding our Adulting 2.0 skill building program to help more youth become ready for housing and employment opportunities
• Finding better ways to onramp our youth into mental health and chemical use treatment programs
• Researching better ways to connect youth in rural parts of the two counties to our programming
• Preparing for the opening of our brand new 19 unit supportive housing apartment building (groundbreaking in Spring 2023)
