The Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra is a professional ensemble in Duluth, Minnesota with a summer concert season.

The LSCO's mission is to perform diverse music for chamber orchestra, in a summer concert series featuring both masterworks and new compositions.  We are committed to collaborating with local performers, composers, and artists from other disciplines.  The LSCO also nurtures young musicians though the Quartet Project, an intensive workshop for string students.

The Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra continued to delight audiences during our 2019 summer season.  With our fearless leader, Warren Friesen, on sabbatical, the musicians of the LSCO formed a steering committee that planned and orchestrated 4 diverse  concerts including an evening of ragtime and dixieland music in collaboration with the Duluth Superior Ragtime Society and welcoming guest artists, Erin Aldridge and DeAnn Letourneau  who exhilarated our audience with their violin virtuosity.   Your contributions will ensure that the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra will continue to bring unique and local music to the Twin Ports.
