Kids In Need Foundation (KINF), is a national nonprofit organization that believes every child in America should have equal opportunity and resources to engage in a quality education and aims to provide the support and tools needed for teachers to teach and learners to learn.

In America, more than 66 percent of students arrive on the first day of school without all the requested and necessary school supplies. Kids In Need Foundation aims to close this gap by creating  equitable learning spaces through the distribution of supplies and resources, investing in teachers and students in the highest needs schools: those where 70 percent or more of the enrolled students are eligible for free or reduced-cost meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

In 2023, Kids In Need Foundation supported nearly 4 million students and nearly 200,000 teachers in 13,000 under-resourced schools. In Minnesota, Kids In Need Foundation, together with our network of partners, supported 110,292 students and 4,820 teachers across 351 schools. More than $42 million was distributed in free school supplies and classroom resources nationwide.
