Established in 1884, the Kentucky Humane Society is our state's largest pet adoption agency and spay/neuter provider. Your donations help us provide food, medical care and love to thousands of needy dogs, cats and horses - and then we find them wonderful adopters.

Not only are we here for needy animals, we're also here for the families who love them. Thanks to your support, each year we provide:

• More than 5,500 animal adoptions to excited families
• 10,000 low-cost spay/neuter surgeries at our S.N.I.P. Clinic, helping reduce pet overpopulation
• Counseling and support to over 6,000 stressed pet owners through our Pet Retention Services
• Low-cost spay/neuter and basic veterinary care for families without access to affordable care through our CARE-a-van mobile veterinary clinic
• Fun, effective and positive dog training classes
• Equine Assisted Learning for veterans, businesses and support groups
• Volunteer opportunities for over 1,000 teens and adults each year
