Our vision: Fascinatingly remarkable artistic expression, inviting deep meaning and belonging.

What does "deep meaning and belonging" have to do with a choral group? 

Meaning and belonging resonate when audiences and singers alike experience a concert program that transcends and transports. In short, when Love is present.

What makes Kantorei different?

Kantorei puts our mission AND our vision on sleeves, right next to our hearts.  Projects that bring wonder; partnerships that inspire connection; and some of the best choral music in Minnesota. 

We put LOVE into our notes, and we love sharing our stories and songs with you. 

Our mission: Expanding the worldview of artists and audiences through passionate and crafted artistic performances, partnerships, and projects.

Consider a gift to help us make our goal a reality:

• $5,000 completely underwrites this season's New Recording Initiative project: recording the works of composer Jonathan Posthuma!
• $2,500 funds our Admin staff for half a season
• $1,000 funds Assistant Conductor Tony Rangel for half of a season
• $500 sponsors an instrumentalist for the Advent concerts
• $250 funds a marketing promotion on a major media channel
• $100 purchases new sheet music for Kantorei next season
• $60 sponsors a Kantorei singer for a year (sheet music, folder, name tag, etc.)
• $25 helps offset mailing costs
