The Y is committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

The YMCA offers kids and families the chance to make positive choices ---quality childcare and day camp opportunities means parents can work to better their lives; youth sports programs give kids the chance to belong to a team devoted to making a positive difference; aquatics programs help kids learn a lifetime love for the water; and healthy lifestyle programs gives everyone the chance to lead healthier, more productive lives.

In 2012, over 1,550 individuals received scholarships to the YMCA with funds raised for the Y Partner campaign.  The average annual income for families who received scholarships was $16,754 a year, $12,221 for individuals.  13% of the recipients were disabled, 34% were minorities.
