Broadening the college aspirations of high potential young women from the Midwest by providing scholarships for summer academic programs.

Through the Joyce Ivy Foundation, communities support scholarships for low- and middle-income young women from the Midwest to enable them to participate in summer academic programs on selective college campuses.  The Joyce Ivy Foundation also connects Midwest students, families, and high school counselors with college alumni and admissions officers to share critical information about college admissions and financial aid.

We believe that high potential young women, who have the academic, intellectual, and leadership potential to thrive on diverse college campuses, deserve the opportunity to raise their college aspirations.

"What the Joyce Ivy Foundation is accomplishing is more than sending girls off to Ivy League universities; it is giving them a chance to test the waters of college, independence, and education." - Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholar '12

"My summer experience allowed me to realize what kind of university I want to be a part of and gave me the confidence to follow my dreams." - Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholar '10

"The experience was completely transformative. It gave me the confidence to apply to really selective colleges across the country. I know I'm prepared and have a lot to offer." - Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholar '10
