Play a Leading Role in Supporting The Ivey Awards

"The Iveys have a significant impact on our arts community. It is the single event in the whole calendar year where theater artists of every level can gather together and celebrate our vibrant arts industry, not just with other artists but with our greater community. It gathers patrons, community members, supporters, casts, crews, producers, and on and on all to say ‘look at what a great thing we have. We must keep it alive.’ The Iveys have strengthened our arts community so much so that without it, I believe our local theaters would be like hundreds of tiny ships lost at sea, aimlessly drifting about. The Iveys serve as our harbor, uniting all of us for the love of the art form and our connection to the greater Minnesota community.”  - Tyler Michaels, 2014 Ivey Awards Emerging Artist -

The Ivey Awards, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, has a mission to increase awareness of Twin Cities professional theater and create an evening for ALL people who love Twin Cities' theater – those within the theater community and those in the audience; longtime stakeholders and new theater fans, established professional artists and the next generation of art makers.

Entering into its 14th year, the Ivey Awards has established itself as the premiere Twin Cities theater event with more than 20,000 supporters having witnessed the formal recognition of over 45 productions and 135 individual artists.

On September 17, 2018, these communities will gather at the Historic State Theatre to celebrate the unique, rich and vibrant theatrical work that came to life on the stages of the 80+ professional theatres in the 2017-2018 season.

Supporting the Ivey Awards is much more than an event - support of the 2018 Ivey Awards is a tangible example of your belief in the value of the theatre arts as a core part of what makes the Twin Cities a wonderful place to live, work and play.
