Isanti Middle School (IMS) currently serves approximately 450 students in grades 6-8 living in the city of Isanti and surrounding area.

Isanti Middle School (IMS) currently serves approximately 450 students in grades 6-8 living in the city of

Isanti and surrounding area. IMS is one of two schools residing within one building. IMS follows the traditional school calendar while Minnesota Center (MNC), the district’s optional middle level program of about 100 students, follows a year-round calendar from August to June.

Isanti Middle School opened in 1976  as a 6th thru 9th grade Junior High School with an  enrollment of 580 students. IMS has had six principals in its history.
