IGSI is an international Irish genealogical society.   Our  mission is to provide genealogical education and assistance to our members and to assist the community at large discover Irish history, culture and heritage.   Our members support an extensive library and research facility, and publish the award-winning quarterly journal, The Septs.  

We give webinars and classes about researching Irish genealogy.  Our educational website www.irishgenealogical.org contains much helpful information about researching Irish roots.  We publish the bi-monthly e-newsletter Ginealas, and provide research services within our extensive library collection and online. 

Founded over 40 years ago by a small group of people interested in sharing their knowledge, the Irish Genealogical Society International, Inc. is a Federal IRS 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.  We are located at: 1385 Mendota Heights Road, Suite 100, Mendota Heights, MN  55120-1367
