INTO the DEEP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission of facilitating true understanding of our identity, reason for being, and dignity as body-soul persons made in the image of God.

JEN MESSING is the founder; she has been speaking, teaching and leading theology of the body-based retreats – indoors and outdoors – since 2002.

I.D. RETREATS is the unique vision of bringing the mission of INTO the DEEP into a setting we were made for!

Each person deserves to know what it means to be made in the image of God; all are called to understand the meaning of life and love so as to fully participate in the great story of our origin, history, potential, and destiny.  Whether you are a teacher, young adult, or teen, INTO the DEEP invites you to encounter God, neighbor, and your unrepeatable personhood through Eucharist-centered prayer, lessons on the theology of the body, and the adventure of living outdoors.
