International Adoption Services (IAS) specializes in assisting Minnesota residents with a home study and post placement/post adoption supervision.
IAS is a nonprofit adoption agency continually licensed by the State of Minnesota since 1991. Hague Accredited continually since 2007.
Our staff has more than 30 years of experience in all phases of adoption. We believe that adoption should be an option for most families regardless of age, race, sex, marital status or religion.
Our success in adoptions is rooted in the joining of professional and personal attention throughout the process.
We work closely with primary agencies, both domestic and international, which identify children for adoption and assist families with the steps needed to link these children with them.
The cost of an adoption for prospective families is high and on the rise. Legal services, filing fees, home studies, and agency compliance and regulation all add to the cost. International adoptions and those with special-circumstances are even more expensive. Because we focus exclusively on home studies, post placement reports and related services, we’re able to offer these services at a lower cost than any other agency in Minnesota. Donations from generous people and organizations help us keep these costs low and we can avoid passing extra expenses along to adoptive families. If you’d like to help keep adoptions accessible and affordable in Minnesota and support adoptive parents as they work to build families, please consider a donation to IAS today.
