iMatter has been Merged into Climate Generation

iMatter’s highly impactful program for high school youth leaders has been merged into Climate Generation. The program was revamped and restarted this September as part of Climate Gen's Youth Environmental Activists (YEA!) program. Climate Generation is a Minnesota-based nonprofit that empowers individuals and their communities to engage in solutions to climate change.

Climate Generation has been an iMatter partner since the current Program started, through their terrific YEA! program. In fact, they’ve supported youth through mentorship and partnership for over 12 years to be active leaders in the climate justice movement. They also have a nationwide Climate Change Education program that works with teachers around the country by providing training and curriculum resources to integrate climate change into the classroom.
