Climate Generation empowers individuals and their communities to engage in solutions to climate change.

Since 2006, we have been building climate literacy, amplifying personal connections to climate change, and developing powerful advocates amongst educators, youth, and communities through a model of collaboration and partnership.

Our task: Igniting and sustaining the ability of educators, youth, and communities to act on the systems perpetuating the climate crisis by overcoming disinformation, centering anti-racism and systemic equity, and personalizing and localizing climate change action

Creating a Resilient Climate Future, Together 

This is an incredible time to be alive--a time that is full of the possibility of what we can collectively accomplish in finding and implementing climate solutions. We need to build a different world, one in which we can live equitably and sustainably — one where we can do the most good for each other and our planet. What we have been doing hasn’t been working--the good news is that there is still time to right our path. 

We get to be the generation of people that turns the corner in a narrow window, before it’s too late. We have a chance to make a livable world for our children today and for the future. If we do the best work we can, we will be well on our way to a country powered by clean, renewable energy across an economy, and that justice and science will guide the way. 

We've seen progress, despite obstacles. We don’t have to invent new ways of doing things; the tools are in our grasp right now. And our youth, our teachers, and our communities are leading the way.
