Humphrey Elementary School ...a great place to learn, play, and flourish together!

Humphrey Elementary is one of two elementary schools in the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School District. Our student enrollment hovers around 250, grades K-4, and is the home for several classes of preschool. What's great about Humphrey Elementary? We have a terrific community of learners, a great staff, and we strive to meet our learners at their level to offer both challenge and success. Humphrey proudly is a 2012 Blue Ribbon Schools recipient. It's a beautiful place to learn and grow!

We continue to look for innovative ways to reach and teach students through technology integration, solid core curriculum and instruction, knowledgeable caring staff who believe in a social curriculum as much as the academic content they teach, as well as trying to offer a variety of learning experiences for our students. We are reaching out in order to provide and expand these opportunities to our student body.
