Huellas Latinas

When we started Huellas Latinas, we had a simple dream: to make the outdoors a place where Latino families feel they truly belong. But many in our community still face invisible barriers — language, representation, transportation, or simply never having received an invitation to explore.

That’s why we created programs that go beyond recreation — they heal, connect, and empower. From our first community hikes to our family camps, every step builds confidence, joy, and a deep sense of belonging.

In just a few years, we’ve hosted more than 315 activities, welcomed over 2,780 participants, and built partnerships with 30+ parks and organizations to make green spaces more inclusive and culturally relevant. And yet, our work is far from done — there are still many stories waiting to begin on the trails.
