Hoarding Disorder is an often misunderstood mental health diagnosis that impacts hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans and has implications for public safety. Individuals who hoard often face unfair stereotypes, family members experience loss of relationship, and community response is not effective, efficient, or long-lasting. The Hoarding Project is a non-profit organization located in St. Paul, MN and Tacoma, WA. We are mental health professionals who seek to provide accurate information and understanding about hoarding disorder. We work with individuals who hoard, families, and communities and offer resources, therapeutic services, and research-based education. The Hoarding Project seeks to advocate for all Minnesotans who are impacted by hoarding behaviors including individuals and families, mental health professionals, first responders, professional organizers, city and county government employees, neighbors, code enforcement officials.

Donations to The Hoarding Project will enable us to assist homeowners of hoarded homes, to collaborate with professionals working with hoarding, and to begin a program of advocacy and public policy with our state legislators.

Thank you for joinng us in our work! Because of you, we can help Minnesotans live in health and safety.
