Hawk Hustle Fun Run!

Get ready to lace up your shoes because our students are soaring into fun at our 2025 Hawk Hustle Fun Run!  This is our high energy fundraising event for Highwood Hills Elementary. This exciting day is all about fitness, school spirit, and community as our students race, jog, and walk their way around the course to raise funds for our Polytechnic Program, classroom resources and enrichment.

Educating the Whole Child

Our dedicated staff works in partnership with parents and the community to support students as they grow socially and emotionally toward their attainment of the academic standards.

Our school believes in educating the whole child. We provide social, emotional, physical and academic support – and we set high standards for all students. Students learn how to be good citizens in our calm and caring school community. They also have opportunities to become young leaders: as reading mentors, Student Council members, and as members of the school pride team. Instruction is tailored to each child’s ability, and classes in art, science and physical education round out the school day. Highwood Hills serves not only our students but also their families with meaningful activities, classes, and events  beyond the regular school day. Through partnerships among students, parents and staff and community members, our school provides a welcoming experience that strengthens each child’s ability for academic success while equipping them with 21st Century skills.
