Highland Elementary

Highland Elementary is a public school in the Columbia Heights School Distict. Highland is a K-5 school with about 500 students.

Highland Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the Columbia Heights School District, known as ISD 13.
The school serves students in PreK 4 through grade 5. Most students who attend Highland reside in Columbia Heights or Northeast Minneapolis.

Highland's mission is to ensure a rigorous and relevant education where all learners are valued, positive relationships are developed through Responsive Classroom and students are prepared for life-long learning in the 21st Century.

Students are challenged in all curriculum areas and the school is proud of the academic performance of our students.  Over 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch, therefore fundraising is a difficult task.

Our goal is to raise funds to support technology in our school.  We need laptops as well as iPads to be used by classrooms. Help us keep Highland kids racing through the 21st century with your donation! Thank you!
