Hibbing Historical Society & Museum

The Hibbing Historical Society operates a non-profit research center and museum facility, and is an affiliate of the Saint Louis County Historical Society.  Our 2,000 sq. ft. museum is open year-round with free admission. We are the longest running historical society on Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range, tracing our roots to the original First Settlers' Association started in 1926.  The collection at the Hibbing Historical Society depicts one of the nation's most important historical and contemporary mining areas, and includes cultural heritage and industrial equipment collections.  New donation offers continue to come in every week.  We appreciate your donations, which allow us to continue our mission of preserving the history of this unique area!
