Hiawatha Academies is a network of high performing college-preparatory schools focused on closing the opportunity gap in Minneapolis. 

Our mission ensures that all Hiawatha Academies scholars will be empowered with the knowledge, character and leadership skills to graduate from college and serve the common good. Our equity vision is to honor the humanity of all people, we actively disrupt systemic inequity in pursuit of an equitable world. Hiawatha Academies permanently disrupts educational inequity by ensuring a great school for every child.

Hiawatha Academies is a network of four college preparatory charter schools located in south Minneapolis. We serve scholars in grades K-12. 

The scholars that attend Hiawatha Academies are 87% Latinx, 10% African-American, 2% more than one race & 1% American Indian/Alaska Native. 

Hiawatha celebrated the fourth class of graduates in the spring of 2022 with 100% college acceptance.
