Please join the Hemophilia Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas “Give to the Max Day”

Established in 1965, the Hemophilia Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas (HFMD) is the only resource of its kind in this area. We provide children and adults affected by hemophilia and other chronic bleeding disorders with programs and services of support and empowerment. Hemophilia is an inherited life-threatening disease which can cause severe pain and physical limitations. Those living with hemophilia can suffer through internal bleeding and daily complications. Today with specialized care and support, most people with chronic bleeding disorders can lead healthy and active lives.

Our programs and support services include: an amazing summer camp for kids to learn about their condition while having the time of their lives, financial assistance for members experiencing hardship, post-secondary scholarships, group fitness & nutrition programs, family education and peer support groups. We work closely with our affiliated Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs) of Minnesota & South Dakota to help members lead healthy and active lives. HFMD programs focus on what you CAN DO, not what you can’t do.
