Hastings High School Show Choir Program 

The Hastings Show Choir Program, located in Hastings, MN, is made up of 2 competitive show choirs; Riverside Company, a Varsity ensemble, and Dynamic Edition, an all-female Junior Varsity ensemble.

Riverside Company began as a competitive show choir in 1995 and was originally called the 11th Street Singers until moving to Hastings' new high school in 2001 when it was renamed to Riverside Company  This Varsity show choir competes and performs all over the United States. Riverside Company is an auditioned group open to boys and girls in grades 9-12. Dynamic Edition (previously Divaz), an all-female Junior Varsity show choir, began in 1999 and competes and performs in the Midwest. Dynamic Edition is comprised of girls in grades 9-12.

Each year the Hastings High School Show Choirs sponsor one of the largest show choir competitions in the Midwest – Swingin’ on the River. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025 with 19 teams from states throughout the upper Midwest participating in this event. It is our 25th time hosting the competition and we are excited for the day!
