Green Lake Lutheran Ministries

There’s something special about spending a week at camp. We see this year after year across our three sites - campers, summer staff and guests arrive and something changes. Unburdened by the worries of daily life and surrounded by a welcoming community, they let their walls down and find themselves filled with an unmatched, overflowing joy. It’s simple, but life-changing, especially for a young child. They radiate kindness and share it with other children, inspiring them to embrace who they are and share that grace further. They take it home with them and share it widely in their families, schools and communities. Spending time at camp serves as a strong reminder of God’s abundant love for you and you just can’t help but share your joy!

This past summer, 2,300 people attended our summer camp, day camp and Serve Boldly programs. Across all registrations in 2023, Green Lake Lutheran Ministries committed to providing $300,000 in partial and full scholarships. Green Lake Lutheran Ministries is committed to making camp accessible to all people and abundantly sharing joy with our campers and their families. We are only able to do this through friends of our ministry who choose to donate to our scholarship fund, ensuring that this life-changing experience is available for anyone who wants to join in the fun.

On November 16, Green Lake Lutheran Ministries will be participating in Give to the Max Day, with the goal of raising $30,000 for our scholarship fund, ensuring that the joy of God’s love will continue to spread. Will you join us by making a gift on Give to the Max Day? 

And, you’ve been invited to share the joy! A small group of dedicated donors have put together a challenge fund for this Give to the Max Day. They are passionate that anyone who wants to feel the joy of camp and experience the love of God in a new way should be able to. They have put together a challenge fund and are extending the challenge to you to join them in giving the maximum amount of JOY this year!
