Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery

A nonprofit organization

Parenting is tough.

It can feel almost impossible without support or resources to meet your family’s needs. Many parents in our community have nowhere to turn for help.

Imagine being a parent who is under-resourced, over-stressed, and living with constant uncertainty.

The Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is the first line of support for many families in crisis — whether they’re facing poverty, unemployment, domestic abuse, homelessness, medical or mental health concerns, or another challenge threatening their family’s stability.

Every day, the Nursery is there.

We answer crisis calls, provide home visits, connect parents with vital community resources, and offer a safe place for children—newborn through age six—to stay and rest while their parent works to rebuild stability and hope.

You can make that possible.

Your Give to the Max Day gift ensures the Nursery can continue to be there for families on their hardest days—with compassion, care, and the support every parent deserves.
