Goodhue Education Foundation

The Goodhue Education Foundation was founded in 2014, but was unable to donate until 2016 when funds were available.  It is a way to enrich the education of the students and staff at the Goodhue Public School.  Our purpose is to:     

- Provide resources for the enrichment of the educational experiences

-To promote excellence for all students of the Goodhue Public School.

Since 2016 the Goodhue Education Foundation has donated: $76, 969.75 with the help of fundraising efforts that have been supported by the community.  We have donated items like books, kitchen aid stand mixers, computer programs, microscopes, money towards field trips, donated money towards the Goodhue Forest as well as the green house, tablets and many other resources for the students and teachers.

 - Areas include: academics, arts, activities, and athletics

 - Identify community resources to ensure long term financial stability in support of our mission.

 -Collaborate with the district school board and administration to support the innovation, strategic goals, and initiatives of the foundation.

 -Partner with alumni, parents, educators, businesses, and the greater community to support our mission.

 -Build an endowment fund for the sustainability of the foundation and support of projects.

The Goodhue Education Foundation has been organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501 c (3) of the internal revenue code.
