Gloria Dei Lutheran Church

Dei Spring Academy was established in 2007. The members of Gloria Dei believed it was important to start a preschool to teach children in a Christ centered atmosphere. The school was opened with one teacher and one student. Dei Spring also became a licensed child care for preschool through school aged children. This allowed us to offer more to working families. By December we hired another teacher and had a classroom full of preschoolers.  In 2009 the members of Gloria Dei believed it was important to continue the mission by adding kindergarten. Space was limited so we purchased an existing child care center adjacent to the church building. The preschool and child care programs merged and kindergarten remained at the church location. Dei Spring Academy has added a grade each year since and now offers kindergarten through third grade at the church and child care for infants-school age at the center.

Our program offers scholarships to families at both buildings. We offer small class sizes at the school.

We have received many donations from fundraisers and our members, but we continue to need more financial help to continue our mission of teaching our young and helping our community by offering small class sizes and quality child care. We employ 19 people.

Our philosophy is to provide a Christ centered academic foundation nurturing spiritual, physical, and mental growth.
