Gamer’s Rhapsody is uniting a community to celebrate the music and artform of video games. Started in 2014 and organized in 2018, GR is connects artists, musicians, developers, and every kind of video game fan through programs, creative events, meetups, and educational resources. 
Our organization is 100% volunteer run.

Video Games & Music Convention

Video Games & Music Convention (VGM CON) is an annual video games & music convention held in Minneapolis, MN on April 17-19, 2025. This event celebrates the art of video games with live performances of video game music, panels, workshops, a music improv jam space, local and regional video game developers, artists, open gaming, tournaments, and more.

Twin Cities Gamer Symphony Orchestra

The Twin Cities Gamer Symphony Orchestra (TCGSO) is a community orchestra with the goal of elevating and sharing the music of video games in the greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota. The orchestra was founded in the summer of 2024 by a group of musicians who all met through Gamer’s Rhapsody.  

Returning for their second season, the Twin Cities Gamer Symphony Orchestra presents “Dreams and Determination.” TCGSO will perform selections from UNDERTALE® and DELTARUNE® in a FREE, all-ages concert that is open to the public. Experience Toby Fox’s compositions live in Minneapolis as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of UNDERTALE® at Southwest High School, Minneapolis, on Thursday November 20, 2025 at 7:30pm. 

Admission is FREE to this show, but your generous donations help us keep bringing your favorite video game music to the Twin Cities

Educational and Artistic Programming

Gamer's Rhapsody is proud of our educational and artistic efforts to inspire creators and future creators to further develop their crafts. Video games offer an exciting and relevant topic to learn new skills. From musicians learning a challenging new Mario piece to an artist learning how to animate a character design. Our programs helps develop and nurture skills by combining passion with learning opportunities.

How Your Contributions Will Help

Your contributions will help support and expand our existing programs and build financial confidence to create new programs. Our organization aims to maximize opportunity while minimizing the barrier of entry. Further contributions will help our organization reach out to new communities through new programming expansions.
