Grow Food. Grow Futures. Give to the Max for Frogtown Farm
Your gift sustains a living ecosystem of farmers, youth, and neighbors building food sovereignty in the heart of Saint Paul.
At Frogtown Farm, the soil tells our story. Once a gravel lot, now a thriving green sanctuary, the farm stands as a community-led model of what’s possible when people grow together. Our mission is simple but powerful: to enrich the world by cultivating soil and community in Frogtown.
In 2025, Frogtown Farm continued to nourish both land and lives through three key branches of work:
Community Health & Nutrition
Food is our common ground.Through collaborative efforts with Meals on Wheels, Feeding Frogtown, Gladstone Senior Center, and local pantries, Frogtown Farm distributed tens of thousands of pounds of fresh, locally grown produce to nourish neighbors across Saint Paul.
Your support helps us keep the food flowing — ensuring every family can access culturally relevant, nutrient-rich produce.Every $25 helps us fill a grocery bag with fresh greens, herbs, and love grown right here in Frogtown.

Regenerative Agriculture, Environment & Climate
We’re cultivating more than crops — we’re rebuilding the soil beneath our feet and strengthening our neighborhood’s climate resilience. This year, Frogtown Farm:
Expanded cover cropping and soil testing, supporting regenerative growth that improves air quality and combats climate change.
Hosted university research partners studying the Farm’s role in mitigating heat islands and improving soil health.
Offered hands-on agricultural workshops for residents and youth, deepening community knowledge of sustainable growing.
Every gift helps us expand education, innovation, and stewardship — ensuring this green space remains a refuge for generations.
Social Justice & Youth Engagement
We believe youth are the future farmers, activists, and storytellers of our land.Last season, we partnered with BYHAC, Green Garden Bakery, and local art collectives to host hands-on youth workshops — blending agriculture, culinary skills, and collective art. From helping plan our Community Cookbook to curating the Flavors of Frogtown events, youth leaders helped shape the farm’s vision in real time.
Your donation supports youth stipends, leadership training, and creative programming that builds the next generation of food justice leaders.
The Grower Incubator Program
Our Grower Incubator is planting the seeds of food sovereignty. In 2025, Frogtown Farm supported local BIPOC farmers and emerging growers with training, access to land, and mentorship. Through the LFPA (Local Food Purchase Assistance) program, we purchased and redistributed thousands of pounds of produce from partner farms — including Kilimo Minnesota, The Good Acre, Route 1, and HAFA — to more than 15 community food banks and meal programs.
Each dollar you give strengthens this ecosystem — helping new growers thrive, communities eat, and equity grow from the ground up.
