Give to the Max Day 2023 is Thursday, November 16th! Winona County's Dolly Parton Imagination Library program will receive 30% of the funds donated during Give to the Max.
The Library Friends are volunteers who love our library and work together to:
- Maintain an association of persons interested in the Winona Public Library.
- Focus public attention on the Winona Public Library.
- Stimulate the use of the library’s resources and services.
- Receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the library.
- Support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for the community.
- Support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights.
Why you want to support your library:

You can do what the Friends do:
- Supplement the book budget: print, electronic & audiobooks
- Support library reading programs for children & adults
- Contribute to capital improvements
- Donate to professional development
- Participate in library advocacy by encouraging community awareness
- Volunteer at a fundraising event such as Concert in the Park
- Serve on the Friends' Board of Directors
- Donate gently used books/DVDs/CDs for the Friends' sale shelf in the library
