Changing the world through education
Educating girls in Pakistan has been the primary focus of Presbyterian Education Board for over 150 years. Today there are 14 schools educating both boys and girls, including 3 dormitories for girls and 1 dormitory for boys. There are also 20 schools in rural villages that reach poor students who might not normally have an opportunity for education. An additional program, the SHE project (Struggle-Hope-Empowerment), helps marginalized (at-risk) women and girls obtain vocational, educational, and life skills to help them become contributing members of Pakistani society. Friends of Presbyterian Education Board (PEB) strives to build a network of partners to support the PEB schools and its programs.
