Mission Statement:      The Friends of Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge fosters community understanding and appreciation of natural resources while supporting the Refuge goals of preservation, restoration, and education.  Some of the events the Friends and staff of Crane Meadows National Wildlife sponsor are a Candlelight ski in February, Habitat Day in March, a spring Birdwalk in May, Platte River Cleanup in June, and a Backyard Birdfeeder Day in December.
