Friends in Need Food Shelf

The Friends in Need Food Shelf has been serving South Washington County for the past 26 years.  We see around 28,000 people a year (duplicated numbers).  We also have a small Emergency Fund which allows us to give one-time financial help for things like car repairs, prescriptions, glasses, rental assistance and bill assistance.  We have a School Supply Giveaway, a Thanksgiving Program and a Christmas Program.

The Friends in Need Food Shelf allows clients to come in every other week instead of once a month, which is the norm in the food shelf world.  We offer bountiful amounts of fresh produce, meat, milk, eggs, deli, dairy, and               toiletries along with nonperishable foods.  

Your monetary donations make a difference.  Because we purchase most of our food from Second Harvest, we are able to stretch each dollar up to ten times.  We are so grateful for your support!
