For Goodness Cakes

Our mission at For Goodness Cakes is to give individual youth at least one special moment that is about them. By providing a child a treat made especially for them, it gives them some much needed time to not feel the increasing pressure of their socioeconomic situation, but rather help nurture optimism and confidence at a critical age. 

The Twin Cities Chapter opened and delivered its first cake in October 2020 and is one of 30 Chapters spread across 18 states! 

How the Twin Cities Chapter makes a difference:

• Over 2,200 cakes delivered that put a smile on a child’s face, supporting our mission to give individual youth a sweet pause for a special moment that is just about them.
• Over 385 community volunteers who help us carry out the mission, taking time out of their day to bake and deliver a cake made to a child’s wishes.
• We partner with 48 agencies (see list below) to deliver love, joy and frosting to their deserving youth

As we continue to grow, your donations will:

• Provide us opportunities to celebrate foster, homeless, trafficked, and disadvantaged youth and young adults in a sweet way by providing a homemade birthday or graduation cake.  
• Enable us to maintain our digital platform which allows us to onboard volunteers, connect agencies to volunteers, manage donor relations and elevate our mission.
