Florestan Chamber Music presents concert experiences that feature classical chamber works both old and new, both canonic and rarely-heard. Through our values of excellence, connectedness, and inclusivity, we aim to connect individuals and communities through the experience of music. Join us!
Our 2026 concert series starts soon! Join us on January 17 for our inaugural Family Concert, and on February 21 for our Saint Paul Public Library String Quartet Concert. We will also present a spring concert featuring music inspired by James Joyce. Our concerts are free and open to the public.
Florestan Chamber Music is also the fiscal sponsor and administrative support of the Twin Cities Cello Camp, which will be back at Hamline University for its second year!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the costs of these projects. The main costs for our concert series are artists fees for our musicians, and commissioning fees for the composers who are creating new works for our 2026 season (Brian Cobb, Soomin Kim, and Tim Takach). We are also raising money to pay for scholarships and administration for the Twin Cities Cello Camp.
Thank you for supporting grassroots chamber music and music education in the Twin Cities!
