Help local West Africans feed their orphaned/abandoned children in Liberia

 The Faith Center Orphanage Is a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization providing food, clean water, clothes, medical care and shelter for 60 orphaned and abandoned children in Totota, Liberia.

In 1992 Albertine Cooper was living in Monrovia, Liberia when rebels came in to her neighborhood and drove families from their homes.  It was by the grace of God if you lived or died. Albertine, along with friends and family, suffered unspeakable violence and destruction before they were able to escape the city and find refuge with a family in the country.  This family gave them what little they had until Albertine and her family were able to leave the country.  Years later, Albertine tried to find this family to thank them.  They had been killed in the war.   She found some of their grandchildren abandoned and orphaned.  It was at that moment that the FAITH CENTER ORPHANAGE for orphaned and abandoned children in Totota, Liberia was born.   Albertine's spirit of survival carries over into her life.  She is determined to turn what happened to her into something good.  Albertine's parting words with everyone is "be blessed friend"…..and she means it.
