Ely Nordic Ski and Bike Club

Help support the amazing, year-round trails at Hidden Valley in Ely, Minnesota!

Ely Nordic Ski & Bike Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers.

We focus our efforts towards the Hidden Valley Recreation Area (HVRA) and the Trezona Trail located in Ely, Minnesota.  As a club, we are responsible for the building & maintaining the HVRA trail system for year-round use as well as maintaining and managing the Hidden Valley Chalet/facilities.  

The trails are open to the public year-round, and meticulously groomed for both skate and classic Nordic skiing. The system is most heavily used by youth programs Ely Youth Ski League, Ely Nordic Wolves Ski Team and Team Borealis Mountain Bike Team. 

Construction was completed this fall on the first four loops (nearly 7 miles!) of Singletrack Mountain Bike Trails. These expertly designed and built trails will be groomed all winter long for fat tire biking and open for snowshoeing!

Your donation will help us complete our 2021 fundraising goal of $50,000. This will contribute the Club's matching portion of an Iron Range Resources grant, funding new trail signs and maps, a new information kiosk, as well as the total needed to complete the fifth and final Singletrack loop next spring.
