We partner with schools, families, and communities to ensure that every young Minnesotan has access to a rigorous and engaging education.
Our Work Minnesota’s education system continues to face persistent racial and socioeconomic disparities. In 2025, just 60% of white students and under 30% of Black, Latino, and Indigenous students demonstrated reading proficiency. We know that today’s outcomes are not a reflection of our students' potential, but rather systemic failures that EdAllies makes it our mission to address. We work alongside students, parents, educators, and community leaders, to close gaps, change the system, and make sure the people most impacted by education policies have a seat at the table.
Your Support We believe that every student deserves a great education and that we can't let the status quo stand in the way. But real change isn't easy. As a nonprofit, we depend on financial support from allies like you to raise awareness, produce research, offer programming, and advocate for change. Your contribution, whether large or small, will help us:
Advance policies that prioritize students with the greatest need—and potential;
Identify and remove barriers standing in the way of successful schools; and
Elevate the voices of educators, students, and families to change the conversation around what's possible in our schools.
