Eagan High School

Random Acts of Kindness Fund

It's tough to be a high school student. While we hope students at EHS come to school ready for a day of academic, the reality is.. they all don't.   Too many of our students struggle with family conflicts, health issues, and financial needs.   Many are in need of the basics:  school supplies, warm coats and gloves, gas money, healthy snacks. Over the past year, the need within our school has grown significantly. Like many communities across the nation, we are seeing more families struggling to meet the cost of basic necessities—food, personal care items, winter clothing, transportation, and emergency needs. These challenges follow students into the classroom, and for many, even small acts of support can make a meaningful difference in their ability to learn, engage, and thrive.

These items are not funded in our curricular budget or can be found in a line item in any educational spreadsheet.  We established our RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS Fund to help students with the basics that allow them to get the best education they can at Eagan High School.  Your support for our RANDOM ACTS of KINDNESS Fund may help a child get through the day!   Thank you for all your support !

About Eagan High School

Eagan High School is a comprehensive, four year high school offering more than 500 trimester courses in 14 subject areas or departments along with a full range of special education, work-based learning and career-development courses. The school has twice been named a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and was named a Technology Exemplar School by the US Government. Fourteen year-long courses in Advanced Placement and College in the Schools are available to students. Students can choose from 45 arts and activities programs, including academic competition teams, and 30 interscholastic athletic programs with a number of levels available. Of our 2024 graduates, 68% attended a 4-year college or university and 16% attended a 2-year college or technical school at this time.  Our composite ACT score for the Class of 2025 was 24.3 which placed EHS in the top 10 in Minnesota!

In October 2025, The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS)  selected Eagan High School  as the 2025 NFHS Performing Arts School of Excellence.  Eagan becomes the 10th high school in the United States to receive the award, which has been presented annually since 2016.

Only ONE HIGH SCHOOL in the nation is celebrated each year in October as part of National High School Activities Month, an initiative that serves to remind students, parents, coaches, administrators and others in communities across the country about the values and benefits of high school activity programs.
