Educators for Excellence, a teacher-led organization, works to ensure that the voices of classroom teachers are included in policy decisions.

E4E-Minnesota is training educators to run for office. From union president to local school board to the state legislature and beyond, we’re equipping educators with the nitty gritty campaign skills of grassroots organizing, fundraising, platform development, messaging and more, in order for teachers to use their personal and professional values to create the change our students need. 

This program cultivates the the next generation of civic and labor leaders who bring life experience working as educators in the highest needs communities in our state matched with a shared passion for addressing societal programs through a lens of equity.

A group of 20 educators from across the Twin Cities,  the fellows develop the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to be effective as leaders and campaigners. By the end they’ll be able to hit the ground running when they launch their own future campaigns.  

This type of grassroots training is the first of its kind in Minnesota. It’s powerful, innovative, and also resource intensive. Your support will ensure we have a deep bench of student-centered educators ready to run for office in the Twin Cities.
