The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation promotes private giving for the public good.

Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation is a permanent community endowment, built by gifts from thousands of individuals and organizations. Guided by a Board of volunteer civic leaders, DSACF makes grants to nonprofit organizations and to individuals for scholarships and provides leadership on important community initiatives across Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1983, DSACF has distributed more than $60 million and currently administrates more than 470 different funds, each with its own charitable purpose. 

Our mission is to help build stronger community. We’re focusing our efforts upstream, where we can work collectively and with more impact to create solutions. 

Community Opportunity Fund
The Community Opportunity Fund was created in 1983 and continues to grow thanks to many generous donors wishing to benefit our community as a whole. Serving as a permanent endowment for our community, funding is focused on three strategic areas of investment:
