We are a small, all volunteer run nonprofit, where every dollar counts in helping animals in need. Thank you for your donation, it means the world to us and the animals!
Our goal is to raise funding to provide spay/neuter sponsorships and emergency vet scholarships to rescues and shelters in MN. Our spay/neuter clinic sponsorships, fully pays for spay/neuter procedures and vetting services (microchips, exams, vaccines, and medications) for animals in rescues/shelters. Since our inception in late 2012, we've helped hundreds of animals and provided tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships.
The mission of Dogs Of A Good Society is to assist animals in need by providing financial assistance to rescues, shelters, and organizations whose efforts also help animals in need; focusing on sponsoring spay/neuter clinics and emergency medical services. With our mission, we aim to address pet homelessness through prevention and promoting animal well-being so that animals can find a loving forever home.
How we help animals in need:
- Provide Emergency Medical Grants
- Sponsor Spay/Neuter Clinics which includes, surgery costs, microchipping, exams, vaccines, and medications.
Dogs Of A Good Society
started with a dream, an idea, a vision and shaping that into reality in 2009, by two little rescue pups name, Leche and Jasmine. The Pitbull/American Eskimo mixes were adopted by D.O.G.S.'s founder and she was inspired by these two unconditionally cute and loving animals that changed her world and made it a better place. A change in career paths came about to start D.O.G.S. on its physical path in 2012.
D.O.G.S. initially started off as an idea to be a rescue for dogs. However, upon much careful thought, D.O.G.S. became an organization where other rescues and shelters could connect with for support. Existing rescues, do what they do so well - RESCUE. The vision of helping with other animal organizations became our motto. Step by step, D.O.G.S. was developed to lend a paw to animals in need by collaborating with and assisting wonderful animal organizations in the community. We invite you to follow our journey as we grow and make an impact in the community and for animals, however we can. Together we can make a difference for one animal at a time.
