For 126 years, DeLaSalle High School has carried out its mission in the heart of Minneapolis: to provide students and families with a high-quality, values-based academic preparation for life. We are a diverse community of teachers, learners, alumni, parents, and supporters united by our commitment to forming young people for lives of learning, faith, and service.

As the longest-standing Catholic high school in the city, DeLaSalle is rooted in the educational vision of St. John Baptist de La Salle, founder of the Christian Brothers more than three centuries ago. In the Lasallian tradition, we welcome students from a wide range of economic, academic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds—believing that each student’s gifts flourish in a community built on respect, relationships, and shared purpose.
