Deaf Equity is a local, community-based non-profit organization that serves the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing community.
Our Mission is to advance equity and access for diverse communities of Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing through Education, Community Engagement, Empowerment, and Advocacy.
Last year, donors helped us raise money to offer the following events for FREE.
Winter Trail Days, 2023
Annual Community Cookout, 2023
Cultural Community Event, 2023
Deaf, DeafBlind Hard of Hearing Youth Summer Day Camp, 2023
Empowerment Series Presentations, 2023
Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing Baseball Clinic, 2023
Fall Adventures, 2023
Deaf Equity provided 1:1 support to over 42 individuals who needed help with learning technology, Tech support, managing budgets, finding resources, supporting their businesses, setting up their 501c3, facilitating zoom events, spotlighting their work and advocacy within daily life needs.
This year we are asking for specific funds!
