$10,000 Goal

Imagine you are 80 years old and no longer drive. How are you going to get where you need to go?

Without safe, affordable transportation, you don't know how to get to a doctor’s appointment or the grocery store.

Transportation is a basic need.
For many in our community, this is a daily reality. 1 in 5 people over age 65 living in America do not drive due to health changes, limited mobility, and financial constraints. Without access to affordable, reliable transportation, older adults face isolation, missed medical care, and a decline in independence. For caregivers, the stress of balancing work, family, and providing transportation can be overwhelming.

DARTS provides more than a ride.
DARTS offers a lifeline to medical care, food access, and socialization. Our transportation services promote independence, improve health and wellness, and give caregivers peace of mind. DARTS’ mission to create connections that enrich aging comes to life in our vehicles and as riders and caregivers connect with other resources and supports that we offer.

"I depend on DARTS for all of my rides to medical appointments. DARTS drivers are great:
caring, passionate, and friendly. I love this service."
– Susan, Individual Rider

You can bridge the funding gap for this essential service.
DARTS transportation services are vital and about 50% of our 8,500 annual rides are provided to riders at less than our cost to operate. The gap between what people can afford and actual program costs is growing wider. And as our population ages, the need grows.

Your gift matters!
This Give to the Max Day, you can empower older adults to stay connected to the resources they need in the communities they love. Every dollar raised helps provide rides in our community, giving older adults independence and caregivers relief. Donate today to make an immediate impact!

"We cannot praise the DARTS staff enough for the amazing love, care, and service they gave to my mom for over two years. My brother and I are incredibly grateful for their commitment to my mom and for their amazing level of flexibility and kindness, to and for, all of us." – Diane, Local Caregiver

Make a difference - keep older adults independent!

With a gift of...
  •  $50: you can help bring a senior to shop for groceries on their own, relieving caregivers and providing food security.
  • $100: you can provide an oil change to a DARTS vehicle, keeping it on the road and providing rides to local older adults.
  • $250: you can keep a DARTS LOOP providing seniors rides for a full day of engagement in the community.
  • $500: you can provide 30 round-trip rides for Latine seniors to Café y Conversaciones.
  • $1,000: you can help 12 isolated seniors on fixed incomes get to vital medical appointments.

"I am 86 years old and in a wheelchair. I ride the LOOP every week to get groceries. It makes it easy for me to get myself food and leave the house. Without it, I don't know how I could live alone."
– Bob, LOOP Rider
