Crosslake Community School Inc

The Crosslake Community School is working to continually improve our curriculum, technology, environmental and enrichment programs.

We are a small charter school in rural Minnesota.  The opportunities to partner with larger corporations to further our educational opportunities are rare.  We know that to continue to remain competitive in today's education arena, our students must be equipped with materials that will enhance their educational experience. We continue to grow and expand our opportunities for our students, most recently by adding an online high school on campus, allowing us to serve 9th to 12th grade students in an innovative model of delivery.

We have maintained a strong commitment to small class sizes, because we know that according to proven research, direct instructional contact has the biggest impact on student success. We have reaped the benefits of this commitment through on-going strong state and nationwide testing results as evidenced by our recent "Reward Status" recognition by the Minnesota Department of Education for the second year in a row. Our on-going challenge is that our resources are limited and we cannot fund other programming like technology to the point that we would like to.

We want to bring the world to our students.  By accessing programming made available through the web, we can widen the interactions available to our students.  Your donation will allow us to bring a global perspective to our now over 140 students.
