Coon Rapids Nordic Ski Booster Club

The Coon Rapids Nordic Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteer

parents who support their kids’ passion for cross country skiing. We focus our efforts on:

supporting the kids, both middle school and high school. Nordic is an expensive sport that

requires a lot of equipment. It is also a lifelong sport that these kids can enjoy for many

years, even someday teaching their families about it. What a fabulous way to stay active

and healthy.

We are proud to say we provide all first-year skiers with skis and poles so they can give this

sport a try and see if they have a passion for it, before investing a lot of money.

Our team is made up of hard-working kids, endurance athletes who also work hard

academically with many at the top of their class. Last year we could barely contain the

excitement as we had five (5) skiers go to State. We hope that is just the beginning of a

well-rounded team of skiers who strive to do their best.

Your donation this year is 100% FOR THE KIDS! We have set a goal of $10,000. It is solely for

the purchase of new ski uniforms. It is very difficult to get new uniforms for the whole team

as they are quite expensive. The team hasn’t had new uniforms since 2017. What a

confidence boost it would be for the team. New uniforms would mean the world to the

kids. Please help if you are able. Every little bit makes a difference. Thank you.
