ConnectAbility of MN empowers people with physical and invisible barriers to achieve their potential.

Being able to communicate with family, friends, and co–workers makes a huge difference in the lives of persons living with a disability. Since 1954, our organization (formerly UCP of Central MN) serves people who live with the daily challenges of a disability. Whether it is using an augmentative communication device, or the use of a computer, this communication provides learning, social, and employment opportunities. We’re all about independence and living a self-directed life.  We serve individuals with all types of disabilities and low income elderly seniors.

Did you know.....

54 million Americans have a disability.

Most people with disabilities are not fully accepted members of society.

The disability community lacks a central, unified voice, and thereby lacks the strength necessary to enact change.

As a result, people with disabilities have less hope for the future than before the passage of the Americans with Disabilities           Act (1990).
